Well, here it is : the cover of my novel, Too Many Magpies, due from Salt 1st October. I love it - just the right kind of spookiness and sense of things being scratched/rubbed out and redrawn. Thank you so much, Chris of Salt!

Looking forward to reading it. I'm dipping in and out of Balancing - I read the heartbreaking one about the compass and torch 2 nights ago. You captured the eagerness of the child so perfectly - it was v moving.
